QSG Scoring Rubric & Methodology
Last updated: June 29, 2026
Unlike review sites that aggregate spam reviews or copy marketing materials, QuickSaaS Guide runs hands-on, objective tests. To keep our reviews fully unbiased, we grade every tool on a strict 10-point scale divided across five primary axes.
| Evaluation Axis | Weight | Scoring Criteria |
|---|---|---|
| Ease of Use | 0 – 2.0 pts | Assesses onboarding velocity, UI responsiveness, navigation logic, and tutorial quality. A 2.0 score indicates zero setup friction and perfect intuitive pathways. |
| Feature Completeness | 0 – 2.0 pts | Evaluates if the tool satisfies core industry requirements, includes advanced utilities (e.g. API access, custom templates), and keeps pace with modern technologies. |
| Pricing Value | 0 – 2.0 pts | Compares functionality against pricing tiers, free limits, hidden costs (e.g. implementation fees), and competitor benchmarks. A 2.0 indicates outstanding value. |
| Performance & Reliability | 0 – 2.0 pts | Measures core speeds (e.g. generation times, export speeds), system crash rates, resource hogging, and continuous monitoring test success. |
| Support Quality | 0 – 2.0 pts | Tests client response times, documentation depth, agent helpfulness, and onboarding customer success managers. |
Calculating the Final QSG Rating
The final score is a simple sum of the scores of all five axes. For example, if a tool receives:
- Ease of Use: 1.8 / 2.0
- Feature Completeness: 1.9 / 2.0
- Pricing Value: 1.4 / 2.0
- Performance: 1.7 / 2.0
- Support Quality: 1.6 / 2.0
Its total rating is 8.4 / 10. We do not apply arbitrary weighting; every axis is considered equally critical to a software's long-term utility in your stack.
